Treatment of Pemphigus and Pemphigoid

Older man affected by Bullous Pemphigoid

The Treatment of Pemphigus and Pemphigoid PSP will ask patients, carers and health professionals to identify the unanswered questions about three auto-immune blistering diseases (bullous pemphigoid, pemphigus vulgaris and mucous membrane pemphigoid) and then prioritise those questions that patients, carers and health professionals agree are the most important for research to address. Pemphigus and pemphigoid are rare autoimmune blistering diseases of the skin and/or mucous membranes.

The PSP is being funded by Nottingham Hospitals Charity and is co-ordinated by the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology.

The initial question-gathering survey for this PSP opened in October 2019.
