Spinal Sarcoma

The Spinal Sarcoma PSP will work with patients, their families, carers and clinicians to identify uncertainties about symptom recognition, early diagnosis, treatment options, long-term rehabilitation and support (including mental health and wellbeing).

Sarcomas are a rare group of cancers that can arise in any part of the body. Around 5000 diagnoses are made each year, with approximately 60 of these are found in the spine.

The initial question gathering survey opened in July 2022 and is now closed. More information will be available here when the interim shortlisting survey opens.
