|In children with neurodisability, does osteopenia/osteoporosis play a role in the development of scoliosis and subsequently does it effect morbidity/sequelae during the process of surgical internal fixation in the short and long term? ~ What is the relationship between scoliosis and osteoporosis? Should there be a different threshold for osteoporosis treatment in someone with scoliosis? ~ Is there a link between Scoliosis and hypermobility (so-called double jointed people)? ~ Is there any link between scoliosis and other conditions such as costochondritis, depression or cancers related to exposure to radiation during repeated X-Rays?
