Original uncertainty examples increase in the number of resources available for patients such as child life specialists and OT/PT support. ~ Access to Child Therapist during hospitalization and family overall experience on the general paediatric ward. ~ Are there any specific coping mechanisms that healthcare professionals can help chronically ill children/families develop? ~ BC Children's Hospital does not have a Speech-Language Pathologist for it's inpatient patients, is this affecting that outcomes or patient stay? ~ Should acute care patients have access to Speech Language Pathologist?
