Irritable Bowel Syndrome

IBS PSP

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common condition that affects the digestive system and up to one third of the population experience symptoms.  The IBS PSP will work with patients (18+ years of age), carers and health care professionals to identify and prioritise the unanswered questions about about the diagnosis, treatment and management for people with IBS. 

The PSP is funded by Guts UK Charity and British Society of Gastroenterology.

The initial question gathering survey opened in February 2022 and is now closed. More information will be available here when the interim priority setting survey opens.
