UNCERTAINTY: What is the most effective cleaning agent to prevent multi-drug resistant organisms? (Priority 4)
Overall ranking 4
JLA question ID 0088/4
Explanatory note There are several cleaning agents, techniques, and systems that could be used in the hospital. However, it is not clear how effective these are, in preventing infections. Knowing how effective these interventions are, will allow the most effective cleaning agent, tecniques, and systems to be used for cleaning and decrease the spread of infections. There is currently uncertainty about how good different cleaning agents, techniques, and systems are in the preventing the spread of infections.
