UNCERTAINTY: How can we alter the public perception of antibiotics in order to ensure that antibiotics are not sought for conditions for which there is no benefit? (Priority 11)

Explanatory note General public can pressurise the doctors to prescribe antibiotics even when they are not indicated. Educating them on the danger of inappropriate antibiotic prescribing may result in decrease in the inappropriate use of antibiotics. However, there is uncertainty on how best to achieve this.
