Which new drug treatments are being developed and will they ever be based on a patient's genetic makeup? ~ Cancer treatments seem to be tailored to the type of cells targeted. Are there any plans to produce targeted meds for different types of bipolar? ~ What causes some people to respond to lithium treatment and some not to? ~ How do you determine the right treatment for the patient without experimenting on the patient in a trial and error fashion? ~ Why do medications differ so greatly in effectiveness for what (on the surface) appears to be identical cases?
