Tom Caplin
Tom joined the OVA in March 2020, coming from the private sector with a background in energy and sustainability consultancy. His first role was the executive assistant to the director David Richmond in the early months of the OVAs inception. He was then briefly EA for Jessie Owen before beginning his secondment in July 2021 as a policy advisor in the Covid-19 Taskforce working on vaccines and therapeutics. He re-joined the OVA in May 2022 and now works as a policy advisor on physical health, charities and the Health Innovation Fund.
