Steering group members

Katie served both as a soldier and officer in the Royal Military Police with operational tours in Bosnia and Northern Ireland. She is ordained in the Church of England and is the Head Chaplain at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where she has been serving for the last 15 years. Her work includes the Armed Forces family within the 18,000 staff in the Trust and the patients who are veterans and their families. Katie is the Padre for the RMP Association in the North East, the charity Forward Assist and a Trustee of Salute Her. She has a special interest in Moral injury in both the military and NHS staff.
