Heledd Kendrick is the founder and CEO of Recruit for Spouses, which solely exists to help the partners of our Armed Forces into work.

Since 2011, Recruit for Spouses has supported over 5,200 women into employment.  Her work has helped shape policy within government and resulted in creating the ‘Military Liquid Workforce’ for spouses.

Awards include: The Prime Minister’s Big Society Award, Women in Defence winner and a Deloitte Social pioneer for her work in championing spousal employment for the Armed Forces Covenant. Heledd was also recently awarded a Fellowship of the RSA and is one of the UK’s Timewise top power 50 in bringing forward flexible working for military spouses.

Recruit for Spouses has been named as one of the top 100 Social enterprises by Natwest and is also a member of FVEY, an international body of experts in spousal employment made up of the Canadian, Australian and US military to share best practice for military families. Heledd has previously sat on the Advisory Board for the Office of Veterans Affairs in the Cabinet Office and is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
