What is the normal noise level in a disco and is it dangerous  ~  What level of loudness damages hearing?  ~  Is it just the volume of sound that can cause it or the quality of it?  ~  Maximum output of headphones for iPod etc. and the potential effects of hearing  ~  Testing piped music in shops and street music for unacceptable levels of noise that affect hearing.  ~  Can legislation be brought in to keep sound levels to a safe level in places of entertainment?
